Our Impact

Empowering One Nurse At a Time.

Crisis Hotlines

Our crisis hotlines provide immediate support and guidance to nurses facing emotional distress or trauma. Available 24/7, these confidential lines offer a safe space for nurses to express their concerns, receive empathetic listening, and access resources for further assistance. We offer workshops, training sessions, and networking events to support nurses in their professional growth and development. These opportunities provide valuable skills enhancement, career advancement guidance, and connections with mentors and peers, fostering a supportive community within the nursing profession.

How To Reach Our Crisis Hotline

“Thank you for your interest in the National Nurses Crisis Center. We’re dedicated to supporting nurses in times of need. At present, we’re working diligently to establish a crisis help line to further assist our community. Once we receive donations to cover this critical service, we’ll swiftly implement it. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us via email at info@nursescrisis.org for any assistance or inquiries. Your support and understanding are greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance our resources for nurses nationwide.”

Peer Support Groups

Our Peer Support Groups offer nurses a safe and confidential space to connect with peers who understand the unique challenges they face. Led by trained facilitators, these groups provide a supportive environment for nurses to share their experiences, exchange coping strategies, and offer mutual encouragement. These groups promote mental and emotional well-being, reduce feelings of isolation, and strengthen resilience among participants.

Nurse Wellness Workshops

Our Nurse Wellness Workshops are designed to address the holistic well-being of nurses, encompassing physical, mental, & emotional health. Led by experts in various wellness disciplines, these workshops offer practical tools & techniques to promote self-care, stress management, and overall wellness. These workshops provide resources for nurses to prioritize their wellness, prevent burnout, and thrive in their demanding roles as healthcare providers.

Research and Education

Through collaborations with academic institutions and healthcare organizations, we conduct research to better understand the factors contributing to nurse distress and resilience. Our educational initiatives disseminate evidence-based practices and promote awareness of mental health issues in nursing, empowering nurses with knowledge and tools for self-care and support.
